With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Wendell Siding follows a proven, step-by-step process that helps to ensure customer satisfaction. This process includes the following steps:

Step One: Initial Site Visit
Once you return the Project Profile Sheet, we schedule an appointment with you at your home. Please allow at least 1.5 hours for this meeting. We request that all parties involved in your project attend that meeting. At this initial, no-charge consultation and site visit, we take photos of the lot and area involved in the proposed project, and we discuss the following with you:
- Design criteria
- Structural considerations
- Window/door styles and brands
- Options to be considered
The Initial Site Visit is your opportunity to assess Wendell Siding as well. Your family’s safety is a priority at Wendell Siding. We require full screenings and background checks of all our workers, most of whom have been with us for years. And before you authorize a project, you will have the opportunity to talk with other homeowners from Wendell Siding extensive reference list. You will learn that Wendell Siding is sensitive to your concerns about security, construction dust and debris, communication, and the all-important issue of safety. We treat your home as if it were our own. The next step in the process is the Ballpark Estimate.
Step Two: Ballpark Estimate:
Before work begins you will be provided with a ballpark estimate that will include your selected products &the neccassary labor. At Wendell Siding we are sensitive to our clients budgetary needs. But in remodeling & construction the unexpected sometimes occur. If our team discovers a potential unseen problem we will immediately stop work on your home & contact you directly to discuss any additional charges that may apply,

Step Three: Pre-construction Phase for Remodeling and Renovations
Think about:
- How you should prepare your house for remodeling
- Location of the portable toilet
- Location of the material staging area
- Location of the debris pile and debris control
- Dust and damage control
- Lead paint hazard for homes constructed before 1978
- Home security and project safety
- Children and pets and their access to the worksite
- Parking for our construction crew
- How production schedules and working hours will impact your family
- Payment schedules
- Delays incurred and why
- Phone use
- Job signs and permit box locations
Preparing Your Home for a Remodel and Renovations

Discuss the project with your family, so they know what to expect. Remodeling can be stressful, particularly for small children, and especially if the area being remodeled is effecting the access to a kitchen, bath or bedroom. The workmen, noise and dust can be a very real annoyance. We understand this and will do our part to make a minimal impact on your life and your schedules.
Depending upon the scope of the job, your yard and landscaping may be damaged. Unless specified in the contract, shrubbery will not be replaced. If shrubs are designated to be saved, we will make every effort to tie them up to allow room to work in that area. If tying is not a practical solution, you may be advised to have a landscaper remove shrubs for future re-installation. Finally, after due preparation, you will be ready for the next step: Construction
